Volunteer Darya Novik is currently looking for material resources to publish poems by political prisoners set to music.
She gathered in one place the works of people who are behind bars for political reasons and dreams that such musical compositions would be available to everyone, the public activist herself said.
“Their number is only growing every day, and over the past few months, a large number of my friends have been detained. It’s really terrible, it doesn’t roll off even for one minute. How can you not do this if your closest people are there? Children suffer because they don’t see their parents,” says Darya Novik.
The volunteer is convinced that since now letters almost never reach political prisoners behind bars, it is necessary to look for new ways of support, including through creativity.
