A holiday for Belarusian children was held in Bydgoszcz

Belarusians of the Kuyavian–Pomeranian voivodeship made a small holiday for Belarusian children and presented them with small gifts for the winter holidays.

Zhanna Kuvannikava, a representative of the Belarusian diaspora and a mother of many children from Bydgoszcz, speaks about the importance of such holidays for children: “It is very important, when we are in exile in Poland, to develop culture and instill it in our children. There were also various logic games and candies. I really enjoyed the event, as our Belarusian, a very talented musician, performed first, and she conducted interactive games.”

Witold Yarotsky, one of the organizers, talks about the event: “We have prepared gifts for the children of Belarusians. They were funded by patrons from the United States of America. The gifts consisted of books in the Belarusian language, logical entertainment, toys, puzzles, puzzles and sweet treats: sweets, chocolate and others. This year we prepared gifts for the children of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship, as well as for the children who are patronized by the Warsaw Foundation, through which we received this money.”

Belarusians of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship hold various events almost every month, and these are not only holidays for children, but also political actions that tell about the repressions in Belarus.
