An unusual art object has appeared in Lida (Grodna region) – a showcase Christmas tree decorated with books by Belarusian classics. It is part of a new alley of books created by local organizations and businesses at the end of December.
Among the books in the tree window are works by Yanka Kupala, Yakub Kolas, Maksim Bahdanowich, Ivan Melezh, Vasil Bykau, Uladzimir Karatkevich, Yanka Maur and Kuzma Chorny.
The art object has become another preparation for the Day of Belarusian Writing, which will be held in Lida next year.
