A two-day meeting of the strategic session of the Belarusian Museum Laboratory began at the Museum of Free Belarus on March 6. It is expected that several dozen museum specialists, cultural scientists and historians will take part in it.
The presentation of such museum initiatives as the House of Free Belarus in Lviv, the Belarusian Museum of Vilnius named after Lutskevich, the Belarusian Library and Museum named after Francysk Skaryna in London, the Museum of Free Belarus in Warsaw and some others is planned.
The purpose of the museum laboratory is to unite Belarusian specialists and experts in the field of museum activities, cultural studies, history, and heritage preservation in exile into a community with stable professional ties.
The organizers want to pay special attention to issues of strategic development, communication, preservation of cultural values and problems of integration into the European context in the context of emigration of Belarusian culture.
