An art installation dedicated to political prisoners of “Viasna” has opened near the European Parliament

The grand opening of the art installation “Indestructible” dedicated to the political prisoners of the human rights defenders of Human rights center “Viasna” Valiantsin Stefanovich, Ales Bialiatski, Uladzimir Labkovich, Marfa Rabkova and volunteer Andrei Chapyuk took place in Brussels.

Among others, the opening was attended by the head of the European Parliament delegation for relations with Belarus, Malgorzata Gosiewska, human rights activist of “Viasna” Maryna Kostylyanchanka and leader of the Belarusian democratic forces Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. The art installation was opened as part of the Days of Belarus in Brussels as a sign of solidarity of the European Union with the people of Belarus.

The art installation “Indestructible” was created within the framework of the company # FreeViasna. The project has already been presented in Vilnius, Poznan, Berlin and Copenhagen. Now you can visit the installation in Brussels until December 20
