The award is given for a work dedicated to topical issues of our time.
“We accept applications for the Adamovich Prize from members of the Belarusian Pen. They have the right to nominate, but they can certainly nominate not only books by members of the Belarusian Pen. In other words, any books that match the profile of this award can be nominated. The profile of the award is current problems of our time, adjusted for 2025. Now we have thought that there are blogs, there are other forms of journalism that can be properly evaluated and which does not get into the focus of attention because there are no such specific awards. In other words, we tried a little to go beyond just the written word,” said Tacciana Nyadbai, chairman of the Belarusian Pena.
Tacciana Nyadbai also stressed that there are no restrictions for authors by age, nationality, place of residence and place of publication of works in the award. Applications are accepted until March 24, 2025 inclusive.
