The Menagerie’s forest in Bialystok hosted the closing of the season of master classes on a combination of Belarusian mythology and quick drawing. Adults and children tested their knowledge and skills of drawing in natural conditions.
“The children who came to my master class really wanted to paint in the forest. I conducted plein-air sketches and master classes in the summer. There were also master classes of a similar nature at the festival Tutaka, but not everyone was able to attend them. The children who did not get in were very worried that they did not manage to draw demons in the forest. That’s why we chose this particular Menagerie Forest, because it’s not far from the center and it’s hard to get lost. Today I will be a guide to another world,” says the master of the master classes, artist Tatsiana Kalach.
According to the artist, master classes on combining Belarusian mythology and rapid drawing will continue in the autumn. An exhibition will also be held at this time, where the final works of the participants of the classes will be presented.
