In January 2025, a book with Vasil Bykau’s works in their original form, without interference from Soviet censorship, will be published in Bialystok.
Readers will be able to see the stories “The Dead Feel No Pain” and “Liquidation” — this is exactly the name of the story, later known as “Sotnikau”, which was changed by the censors.
This edition will be the second in history where Bykau’s works will be printed uncut. The previous time a similar publication appeared was in 2014.
It is already possible to order a new edition through the website “Kamunikat”.
