The XIX Declamatory competition entitled “Poetry of sources — cultural heritage of national minorities in fiction” was held in Hajnowka.
On the stage of the local House of Culture, poems were recited by both preschoolers and young people from the Gainov region. Father Slavomir Chvojka from Orla stressed that the competition is another reason for us to praise God:
“I remember one of the contests, when the humble His Eminence Miron still lived. And he said such words that you need to approach and review the content of these verses that children say, because they have nothing to do with religion. And today, when I listened to these children, everyone had a verse that was connected with faith, with God, with prayer. And it pleases me,” Father Slawomir said.
The competition is held with the blessing of the Orthodox Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland Savva.
