On October 22, the presentation of the book by Michal Androsiuk ”Żubr i inne opowiadania” took place in Bialystok. The author presented to the public the stories translated from Belarusian into Polish for the first time.
“I really liked this edition, I mean the editorial side – the cover, the print. Of course we are satisfied. It turned out to be an interesting book project,” Michal Androsiuk shared his impressions with the guests of the evening.
“When we received the translation into Polish, we considered that one of the goals of the center is to bring interesting literature to the Polish reader,” said Ilona Karpiuk, representative of the Center for Belarusian Culture in Bialystok.
The translation of Michal Androsiuk’s book “Żubr i inne opowiadania” into Polish is the first edition of the Center of Belarusian Culture in Bialystok. The translation was performed by Marcin Rebacz as part of a project funded from the budget of the city of Bialystok.
