Ray Bradbury’s “The Martian Chronicles” to be released in Belarusian

Yanushkevich Publishing House announced the release of the book ”The Martian Chronicles” by Ray Bradbury translated into Belarusian.

A pre-order for the new product is now open, and sales are expected to start on February 18. Despite the fact that the publishing house has opened its bookstore “Knihauka” in Warsaw, the publishing house still focuses on online sales in the distribution of books.

“A year and a half ago, Belarusian publications were not particularly sold through online resources. And over the past year and a half, we and other publishers have managed to promote ourselves. In other words, it’s not a big problem to buy the same Belarusian book using a computer today, as it was two years ago,” says Andrei Yanushkevich.

Yanushkevich Publishing House continues to actively publish world classics in Belarusian. Such famous books as “The Shining” by Stephen King, “The Star Diaries” by Stanislaw Lem, “The Black Obelisk” by Erich Maria Remarque, “The Autumn of the Patriarch” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, “The Sun Also Rises” by Ernest Hemingway and many others have already been published.
