The International Union of Belarusian Writers has started a new enrollment in the School of Young Writer.
Tsikhan Chernyakevich, press secretary of the International Union of Belarusian Writers, invites you to try your hand at a competitive selection of authors from Podlasie.
“We accept applications in all languages in which Belarusians write. Therefore, if there is an application for the peculiarities of the Podlasian language, the peculiarities of the dialect, not quite a standardized language, then it is still accepted, considered, read. Most of the applications come from Belarus anyway, but we have a large geography – Brazil, Africa, Germany, Spain, etc. For some reason, there are not very many of them from Podlasie. Maybe those who participated in the contests organized by Radio Racyja and Niva could participate in the contests,“ he said.
Applications to the School of Young Writer are accepted until October 25, 2024. The first classes will begin on November 2 in the online format. The desired age of participants and participants is up to 35 years old.
