“The Belarusian Encyclopedic Calendar for Every Day” was published. Its creator is our colleague, journalist, historian Uladzimir Khilmanovich.
In fact, there is a page of a book for every day. In addition, the publication has a personalized indicator for the convenience of searching for specific people. The work on the reference book has been going on for quite a long time. The directory has been updated all the time. The latest dates relate to 2024.
“This is the second edition, which can be said to be expanded and expanded. The first version was published in 2008 with the help of the World Association of Belarusians “Backauscyna”. Many dates have been specified and updated. Many new personalities have appeared. And, interestingly, it so happened that the main part of the book consists of 365 pages. On average, one page is obtained for each day. Although certain days have more dates, other days have fewer dates,” said Uladzimir Khilmanovich.
The book was published thanks to the support of the “Renaissance Scholarship” and the weekly newspaper of Belarusians in Poland “Niva”.
