The big Belarusian rock festival “Graj” was held in Warsaw for the third time. This time it gathered a dozen groups.
The organizers and guests of the festival say:
“To give people the opportunity to listen to their favorite Belarusian bands, also to get to know young musicians, to get to know our Belarusian masters. After all, you can buy various interesting things from them on the art market. And the last goal is to raise some money for those who need it.”
“It reminds me of small, somewhere garage concerts that took place in different cities – from Brest to Mahiliou. And there was the most interesting atmosphere. The lack of censorship is definite. And it allowed us to get acquainted with new genres, new approaches, new texts.”
“There is not enough “Basovishcha” in Podlasie, there is “Tutaka”. And it reminds me a little bit of the days of the “Basovishcha”. And it’s nice.”
“There are a limited number of groups that are currently in exile that can be invited. Therefore, it seems to me that he just preserves his cozy atmosphere, a certain intimacy. People come to their favorite bands, get high.”
On the stage of the Odessa Club in Warsaw, in addition to the young groups that passed the preliminary selection, such groups as Nochy, Relikt, Dzieciuki, RSP and Volski played.
