A traditional annual celebration of Belarusian culture took place in the Planty Park in Bialystok.
Artists from different parts of Podlasie showed more than 30 numbers of Belarusian songs and dances to a large audience.
“It’s been so long since they started organizing this “Holiday of Belarusian culture” that I don’t even remember. For probably more than 20 years, this holiday has been held in Bialystok. If people come interested, then this is evidence that the event is good, it was successful. We see the need to do this in the future,” said Bazyli Siegien, chairman of the Belarusian Socio-Cultural Society.
