The literary seminar “Boundlessness”, which traditionally gathers Belarusian poets, writers and translators, started in Bialystok on November 29. Two anniversaries will be celebrated during the event, premieres, presentations and talks are also planned.
“Boundlessness” in its name and in its history, it is limitless from the very beginning. After all, this was the idea – despite the borders, to make possible the penetration and development of Belarusian literature,” said the organizer of the event, Chairman of the Belarusian Union in Poland Eugeniusz Wappa.
According to him, it is important that Belarusian literature be found in the point of view of the Polish focus, Polish culture.
“Well, it happened. So here “Boundlessness” really retains its basic principles correctly. It adheres to what was laid down by the organizers. Meetings are not for the public, not for “Vivat”, not for media retelling, but for conversations, Belarusian hearings,” Eugeniusz Wappa said.
The literary seminar “Boundlessness” was organized in Bialystok from November 29 to December 1, 2024 by the Hrogram board of the weekly “Niva”, the International Union of Belarusian Writers and the Belarusian Union in Poland with the financial support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland and the Marshal’s Office of Podlaskie Voivodeship.
