The XXII International Narewka Art Plein Air was held in the village of Stare Lewkowo. Among its participants were artists from different cities of Poland, as well as from Belarus and Ukraine.
“The plein air was excellent. About 70 paintings appeared in a week. 14 artists from Poland, Belarus and Ukraine participated in the open air. They left a very good impression. Different pictures appeared. But there are also many local landscapes. Despite the weather, we also went out to draw in nature – there are beautiful, colorful stakes in Stare Lewkowo,” said Marko Sapiolko, his commissar, an artist from Hajnowka, about the results of the plein air.
On November 23, in Narewka, the Tamara Soloniewicz Art Gallery hosted the final plein-air exhibition, where the artists showed the results of their work, and the leadership of the gmina awarded the artists with special diplomas and souvenirs.
