Yanushkevich Publishing House announces the release of the Belarusian-language ”Harry Potter”

Yanushkevich Publishing House announces the release of its next book in February 2025 – the Belarusian-language “Harry Potter.”

Back in the summer, information appeared that the book would not be available, as it was not possible to reach an agreement with the copyright holders, since Belarus is under Western sanctions.

However, the negotiations continued and eventually proved fruitful. “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”, the fourth book in J. K. Rowling’s famous series, will be released on February 8, and pre-orders are already being accepted.

“We have signed a new contract on rather strict terms. J. K. Rowling’s books will be exclusively sold only on our sites: at the Knihauka bookstore in Warsaw, online store knihauka.com, Allegro and Amazon marketplaces. Even worse, it is forbidden to sell them on the territory of Belarus and Russia. This means that we will not be able to send “Harry Potter” books by mail to Belarus.”
