An action was held at the Kosciuszko Square in Bialystok to mark the third anniversary of the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, which the Belarusian diaspora organized together with the voivodeship and city authorities.
The purpose of the action is to remind of the solidarity that prevented the aggressors from carrying out their plans and continues to resist them.
Representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora also came to the square, bringing with them children born in 2022. The Podlaskie Committee for the Defense of Democracy has also joined. All those present are united by solidarity in support of Ukraine. Podlasie Voivode Jacek Brzozowski took the floor.

There are calls for maximum assistance to Ukraine, a three-year history of support, concern for neighbors and threats to the whole of Europe from Russia. “We have to take care of our own protection, as we may fall under occupation,” says Mr. Anton, a representative of the Ukrainian diaspora and a regular participant in protest actions at the Belarusian consulate in Bialystok.

Jan Abadouski, a representative of the Belarusian diaspora, takes the floor and talks about the importance of solidarity support in the struggle for freedom and peace for Ukraine and Belarus.
The floor was taken by a representative of the Belarusian minority of Podlasie, the editor-in-chief of the Belarusian Radio Radio Station Eugeniusz Wappa.
The speech emphasized the importance of the struggle for their native land through the centuries, which Belarusians have waged and will continue to wage. Only 210 people were imprisoned in Belarus for anti-war rhetoric, rail guerrillas.. A struggle is necessary and Ukraine, Poland and Belarus are free.
The rally ended, but the Ukrainians sang the anthem of Ukraine. A song wheel formed in the middle of the square. About 200 people gathered in total.
