Belarusian dictator granted asylum to Polish ex-judge Szmydt

Belarusian dictator Lukashenka has granted applications for Belarusian citizenship and asylum to foreign citizens and stateless persons. 257 people, including 15 minors, became new citizens of Belarus.

These are people from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Syria, Palestine and others.

In addition, Lukashenka granted asylum to Polish ex-judge Tomasz Szmydt, who is allegedly being persecuted in Poland for “political reasons”.

Recall that Tomasz Schmyt left Poland for Belarus in the spring and asked for political asylum. He regularly makes accusations against the Polish authorities and praises the Lukashenka regime.
