Belarusian dictator signed decree on exchange of border crossing information with Russia

On March 12, Aliaksandr Lukashenka signed the decree “On the information system for the exchange of information about foreign citizens and stateless persons.”

This is reported by BelTA with reference to the press service of Lukashenka.

The new decree is aimed at implementing the Belarusian-Russian intergovernmental agreement on the mutual recognition of visas and other issues related to the entry of foreign citizens and stateless persons into the territory of the so-called Union State.

The decree provides for the creation of an information system for the exchange of information on border crossings at checkpoints, on issued and withdrawn (or cancelled) documents for the right of entry and exit (transit), as well as identity cards of foreign citizens and stateless persons on the territory of the so-called Union State.
