Belarusians of Warsaw paid tribute to the memory of those killed by the Lukashenka regime

Belarusians of Warsaw paid tribute to Raman Bandarenka and others killed by the Lukashenka regime.

The action took place at the Embassy of Belarus. People were carrying white-red-white flags and portraits of the innocently murdered in their hands. The portraits contained information about each victim destroyed by the regime. People lit candles and remembered each victim.

After the action, the participants placed photos at the embassy as a reproach, as a reminder of the criminal and punitive regime in Belarus.

“We have honored the memory of those who died for the freedom of Belarus. Unfortunately, there are a lot of their names, but they are like angels, always with us: Viktar Ganchar, Anatol Krasouski, Yury Zakharanka, Genadz Shutau, Raman Bandarenka, Witold Ashurak, Ales Pushkin, and others, others, others. And just recently, another 7-year-old political prisoner, Dzmitry Shlethauer, died behind bars. And how many more should there be? Who took part in the murder of Raman Bandarenka? Everyone who killed Zeltser and all our people will be held accountable,” said Vasil Pleshkunou, the organizer of the action, a member of the Association of Belarusian Political Prisoners “Da Voli” and “Belarusians of Warsaw”.

Memorial events are held by Belarusians all over the world. On November 12, it will be four years since Minsk resident artist Raman Bandarenka was killed by regime henchmen. He was 31 years old.
