Despite the sanctions, the Belarusian authorities continue to try to expand the range of potential business partners, including Europeans. BelPol, an organization of former security officials, writes about this.
According to it, the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is planning another trip to the European Union from February 23 to 28. Representatives of Belarusian enterprises intend to visit the cities of Turin and Milan in Italy. These days, Milan will host major global exhibitions on textiles, leather goods, finished goods, and others. During this visit, it is planned to hold a number of meetings and discuss areas of bilateral cooperation, as well as negotiations with Italian entrepreneurs and visits to enterprises.
BelPol states that “european investments should not help criminal regimes that oppress the Belarusian and destroy the Ukrainian peoples.”
