More than 30 names out of 400 are former political prisoners. They are also looking for Mikhail Zhamchuzhny, who was released in 2021, as well as Aliaksandr Tserlyuk, Anatol Astrouski and Viktar Puzan, who were sentenced to two years in prison in absentia.
The list also included intensive care physician Uladzimir Martou who was recently detained in Russia. Lawyer Alena Shinkarevich, deprived of her license, and judge Alyaksey Patsko, human rights activist Alena Maslyukova, have been put on the wanted list.
They are looking for activists Ihar Sluchak and Alina Nahornaya, editor of the online publication Vitsiebsk Courier news Alyaksandra Kornyshava, a confidant of presidential candidate Kanapatskaya Jerzy Grigencza, activist of the United Civic Party Nadziezhda Gatsak, priest from Grodna Georgy Roy. The security forces are also looking for the wife of journalist Dzmitry Lupach, Katsiaryna, and the wife of political prisoner Pavel Mazheyka, Iryna Charnyauka.
