The National Anti-Crisis Management (NAU) additionally identified 8 arrivals of groups of children from the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine to Belarus from April 2023 to September 2024.
The dates and places of stay of Ukrainian children in Belarus, the reasons for their displacement, the program of their studies during their stay in Belarus are documented, information sources used to confirm the data (photos, videos, documents) are collected.
The National Anti-Crisis Management is also working to identify and collect information about employees of the Aliaksei Talai Charitable Foundation involved in the illegal movement of Ukrainian children to Belarus.
Special attention is paid to the identification of financing chains and the organization of the movement of children.
“We will continue to work to bring Lukashenko and his accomplices to international criminal responsibility in several areas, and the illegal transfer of Ukrainian children, that is, a war crime, is one of them,” said Pavel Latushka, head of the NAU, deputy head of the Joint Transitional Cabinet.
