Poland intends to introduce detailed control on the border with Belarus

Warsaw wants to hit the regime in Minsk even more. As the Polish radio station RMF FM informally became known, it was decided to introduce very detailed control at a large customs terminal on the border with Belarus – in Malaszewicze, Lublin voivodeship.

Just a huge part of the transports from the east goes to the west through the so-called “dry port” in Malaszewicze, including the main land supplies from China. They travel by rail to EU countries, as well as to the port of Gdansk, from where they are delivered to other recipients. This transit is a significant source of income for the Belarusian regime. Its decrease can cause a number of consequences. The Polish Foreign Ministry is counting on Beijing’s pressure on Minsk, as a result of which Lukashenka must fulfill Polish demands.

As RMF FM informally learned, a few days ago, a signal was sent to Minsk through diplomatic channels that Warsaw would no longer tolerate migration pressure at the border, as well as the detention of journalist and one of the leaders of the Union of Poles in Belarus Andrzej Poczobut. So far, Belarus has not received a satisfactory response to these clear signals.
