The Polish police are training people who should serve on the Polish-Belarusian border.

Today, 21,000 soldiers and more than 100 border guard officers have been trained throughout the country. Over the past three months, the military has detained more than a thousand people from among those who illegally crossed the border. The illegal immigrants were transferred to the border guard service. This was announced by the press secretary of the operation “Safety Podlasie”, Lieutenant Colonel Kamil Dolezka.

“Soldiers have been carrying out their tasks on the border for a long time. They demonstrate their skills that they acquired during their studies. The acquired experience allows them to fulfill their duties at the highest level,” he said.

Since August 1, the Polish army has been carrying out operation “Safety Podlasie” on the eastern border of the country, in which up to 17,000 soldiers will take part. This decision is due to the need to increase the effectiveness of actions in a hybrid war.
