Local elections in Poland will be held on April 7. The second round of direct elections of the heads of the gminas, mayors and mayors of cities is on April 21.
On Sunday, February 18, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet with the residents of Morang. The meeting with the Chairman of the Civic Platform will be open. Morang in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship is the last city that the leader of the ruling party visited during the 2023 election campaign.
According to the message of the Civic Platform on social networks, an election campaign for local administrations will now begin in Morang, Padio Poland reports.
The local elections will be the first test of the new government. Their results can say a lot about the perception of the coalition by voters, but also about the assessment of the activities of the opposition – “Law and Justice” (PiS), “Sovereign Poland” and “Confederation”.
The April 7 elections will be the next stage of the election marathon, which has been running since October. A little later – in June – elections to the European Parliament will be held in Poland, and the election campaign related to the presidential elections in 2025 will begin soon.
