Speakers of the five parliaments meet in Bialystok

On June 10-11 in Bialystok, the speakers of the parliaments of Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine talk about security in Europe.

There are meetings between Chairman of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Szymon Holownia, Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Estonia Lauri Hussar, Chairman of the Seimas of the Republic of Latvia Daiga Mierina, Chairman of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktorija Cmilyte-Nielsen and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.

The second day of the visit will be devoted to discussions on the role of Poland, the Baltic States and Ukraine in strengthening security in Europe, as well as the topic of the social dimension as a pillar of regional security. Part of the discussion will concern the partnership between local authorities and societies, and the President of Bialystok, Tadeusz Truskolaski, will take part in it.

According to the program, during his visit, the chairman of the Polish Sejm, Szymon Holownia, will meet with students of four Bialystok gymnasiums in Branicki Park.
