“I will continue to do everything to ensure that issues relevant to democratic Belarus remain in the spotlight of the international community!” says Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, who takes part in the Days of Belarus in Brussels.
“We will discuss the situation of political prisoners and methods of their release, as well as ways to put pressure on the Lukashenka regime. I will draw the attention of our European partners to the falsity of the 2025 presidential campaign and explain that the conditions for holding free elections are not being fulfilled, and therefore the results are not worthy of recognition. These days are a chance to focus the attention of the international community on the problems of our country. And it is also an opportunity to choose specific ways to help Belarusians,” the politician notes.
Belarus Days in Brussels are organized by the European External Action Service and the European Commission in cooperation with the European Parliament.
A number of events are planned, including the art installation “Indestructible” on December 12. It is dedicated to the human rights defenders, political prisoners: Ales Bialiatski, Valiantsin Stefanovich, Uladzimir Labkovich, Marfa Rabkova, Andrei Chapiuk.
