Belarusian dictator Lukashenka announced his desire to place 10 intermediate-range ballistic missile “Oreshnik” on the territory of Belarus.
On the sidelines of a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in the Leningrad Region, Lukashenka was asked how many Russian “Oreshnik” missile systems he would like to deploy in Belarus.
“I think there are a dozen so far, and then we’ll see. If the Russians have a desire to place more of them, we will place more of them,” Lukashenka replied.
Many Western and Ukrainian experts are skeptical about the capabilities of the “Oreshnik”, which was first used to strike the Ukrainian city of Dnipro in November. They consider it more an element of information warfare than a weapon that can really change the situation at the front.
