The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus announced the “illegal actions” of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to restrict access to the sea.
The statement on the “illegality of actions” was made by the speaker of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Anatoly Glaz after Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s invitation to the third UN conference for developing countries and those without access to the sea. It will be held in December this year in Botswana.
Glaz stressed that the Baltic states allegedly “abuse” their geographical location. He mentioned the closure of border crossings by European countries, which led to the almost cessation of cargo and passenger traffic.
