The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus plans to conduct a major rotation of its diplomats abroad.
Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou explains this not by the upcoming “elections”, but by the fact that the rotational process was missed, BelTA reports.
“We are planning a fairly large personnel day in connection with appointments at the diplomatic corps abroad. Not because there is some kind of emergency, someone will say – elections … no. Because some time ago the rotation process was missed, and today we have to immediately prepare a significant number of people for appointment,” he said following a report to Aliaksandr Lukashenka on some issues of staffing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs system.
