The command of Kastus Kalinouski Regiment visited Bialystok

Dzianis “Whale” Prokharau, commander of the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment and Vadzim Kabanchuk, deputy commander of the Regiment, met with the Belarusian diaspora in Bialystok and also spoke on the Radio Racja.

Bialystok has become another city where representatives of Kalinouski Regiment meet with Belarusians of the diaspora. According to them, the purpose of the meetings is to thank all concerned Belarusians who have been helping their military unit since its inception.

“A warm environment to see people, shake their hands, look into their eyes. To show that we are real. So that they can hear this involvement with us. It is also an information format: what is happening in Ukraine, to tell the current agenda. To tell about the division to those who do not know, and to those who know to remember about our needs”, – Dzianis Prokharau said.

According to Vadzim Kabanchuk, recently one can observe a certain fatigue from the war in Ukraine. “We would like to remind the people of Poland that in fact the danger has not gone away, it is very real, and therefore Ukraine needs help in these difficult times more than ever, including our unit. And we hope that our trip will draw attention to these problems. I will remind people once again that it is impossible to relax, the Putin regime is not going to stop this war yet”, – the military said.

Representatives of the Kalinousky regiment noted that the logistical support of the unit from the diaspora has now decreased, since they receive what is necessary for combat operations within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The influx of recruits has also decreased.

According to the military, Poland also is under threat because the “West” military exercises are constantly taking place, where the scenario of cutting the Suwalki corridor is being considered.
