The Lukashenka authorities recognized the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment with all its structures as a “terrorist organization”. The corresponding decision on the application of the Prosecutor General was made by the Supreme Court.
In turn, the prosecutor’s office claims that the members of the regiment are involved in the preparation and organization of terrorist attacks on the territory of Belarus.
Earlier, the Lukashenka regime gave Kalinouski Regiment the title of an “extremist formation”. Mainly Belarusian political refugees are fighting in Kalinouski’s regiment, which is fighting on the side of Ukraine.
