The management of the Beltamozhservice company collects information about the relatives of its employees

The management of Beltamozhservice requires employees who have relatives abroad to sign a document about the “potential interest” of foreign intelligence services in them. This was reported to “Zerkalo” by a source familiar with the situation.

According to the source, first, Beltamozhservice employees were given samples of an application in which they need to tell in detail which of their relatives live abroad (even the relatives of their husband or wife are considered). In addition to their names, they are asked to indicate their country and city of residence, place of work, and contact information.

After that, the management brought a second document, which the employees had to sign. It notes that most of the countries that are members of NATO are “building up an unfriendly attitude towards the Belarusian state and its citizens.” It is also noted that the law enforcement agencies and special services of these countries “on an ongoing basis” collect information that “can be used to harm the national security of the Republic of Belarus.”

“Given that I have family ties with those who permanently live abroad, I and my loved ones may be potential targets of interest for law enforcement agencies and special services,” the document says.

Next, instructions are given on how an employee of Beltamozhservice should behave in order to “exclude all kinds of provocations.”
