The Polish Foreign Minister intends to close all Russian consulates in case of further sabotage by Moscow

The Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said he would close all Russian consulates in the country “if Moscow continues to commit sabotage.” Thus, the head of Polish diplomacy commented on the recent closure of the Polish consulate in St. Petersburg.

In an interview with TVP World, Radoslaw Sikorski recalled that restrictions on movement in Poland had already been imposed on Russian diplomats.

“It was enough for them to let them know that we know what they are doing. Therefore, we have taken the next step, and if sabotage and terrorism continue, I will close all other Russian consulates in Poland,” the Polish Foreign Minister said.

Earlier it became known that Russia closed the Polish consulate in St. Petersburg in response to the closure of the Russian diplomatic mission in Poznan. Moscow regarded such actions as a “hostile policy towards Russia.”

Poland has revoked the work permit of the Russian consulate in Poznan due to acts of sabotage allegedly organized by Moscow, including hacker attacks and arson attacks in Wroclaw.
