The rally of solidarity with political prisoners held in Warsaw

Belarusians in Warsaw held another Sunday rally of solidarity with political prisoners and criticism of the election campaign in Belarus.

People even gathered with children, despite the bad weather, says the organizer of the action Vasil Pleshkunou, a member of the Public Association “Belarusians of Warsaw” and the Belarusian Association of Political Prisoners “Da voli”.

“The electoral campaign this time in Belarus should begin with the words “an offer that you cannot refuse.” There are red and green pickets outside the shops. People bypass them like plague barracks, but the TV tells about the unprecedented support of that “mustachioed”. Signature collectors also go around the apartments. And if you don’t sign, you’ll be put on the second list. Because they have two lists – those who peed, and those who did not sign. People come to work, and there are also 2 lists at the entrance,” he said.

According to Vasil Pleshkunou, if you do not sign, you will be fired from your job without further employment. The government does not forgive independent thinking and cruelly condemns the family to starvation.

The campaign ended with a traditional general snapshot.
