The two-day Kosciuszko Forum has started in Gdansk

The two-day Kosciuszko Forum has begun at the European Solidarity Center in Gdansk.

This is an important international event dedicated to democratic transformations in Belarus and in the region, with the participation of Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, the leaders of the European Union and the Council of Europe.

“Today, the Kosciuszko Forum dedicated to Belarus is taking place in Gdansk, which is being held within the framework of the Polish presidency of the European Union. It is attended by ministers from different countries, representatives of the European Union, as well as many Polish and, of course, Belarusian experts. We will talk about the future of Belarus, about the current state, but the most important thing is about culture, identity, and education. How to support, how to preserve, and how to strengthen Belarusians now,” said Franak Vyachorka, Chief adviser to Tsikhanouskaya.

On behalf of the Belarusian side, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Pavel Latushka, other representatives of the Joint Transitional Cabinet, as well as representatives of the Belarusian democratic forces, researchers, and activists are present at the forum. The forum is named after Tadeusz Kosciuszko, the hero of Belarus, Lithuania, Poland and the USA.
