At the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, the Russian military set up a filtration camp in Narowlya.
The exact location of the camp in Belarus was found during an investigation conducted by journalists of the Belarusian Investigative Center together with the Belarusian editorial office of Radio Liberty and the Ukrainian edition “Schemes”. The camp was located on the territory of the Pripyat Alliance state enterprise.
Both the Ukrainian military and civilians who were suspected of working for the Ukrainian special services passed through it. Some human rights activists have called this camp one of the most violent against prisoners.
