A meeting with the commanders of Kalinouski’s Regiment Denis Kit and Vadim Kabanchuk took place at the Belarusian House in Warsaw. The hall of the Belarusian House could barely accommodate everyone who wanted to attend. According to Vadim Kabanchuk, this tour of Poland is to thank our people for the help for the regiment and not only.
“The second goal is to remind Belarusians that the war continues. And it is on our will, on our focus on building a proper national army, that the fate of our Fatherland depends. Now one of the goals is to recruit into the regiment named by Kastus Kalinouski. Because we know that Ukraine is in a difficult situation, and in the end we need to build our own unit. And in order to fulfill the tasks of liberating Belarus we must be more numerous”, – says Vadim Kabanchuk.
Many pressing questions were asked. After a two-hour meeting people did not disperse for a long time. They asked personal questions to the commanders, rethought what they had heard among themselves.
People were satisfied by the meeting. The soldiers of the regiment were given children’s drawings as a gift, which had previously been shown to the whole hall – they hung on the wall.
