A new book dedicated to Ales Bialiatski has been published

A new book dedicated to Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Ales Bialiatski has been published in Bialystok. The publication is called ”For Belarusian Life …”. The publication is timed to coincide with December 10 – the Day of the World Declaration of Human Rights and the second anniversary of the recognition of the Nobel Prize to Ales Bialiatski.

The publication was made possible thanks to the joint work of three Bialystok structures: the Belarusian Radio Racja, the weekly of Belarusians in Poland “Niva” and the Center for Civic Education Poland-Belarus.

The content of the book consists of conversations between Michal Androsiuk and Ales Bialiatski from the series ”face-to-face”, which were played on the Belarusian Radio Racja, Ales Bialiatski’s memoirs about the Maksim Bahdanovich Museum, which were also published on our website, interviews with Ales Bialiatski, which were played in our radio, the Nobel speech, which was read by the wife of the laureate Natallia Pinchuk, the last Bialiatski’s word on the political punitive process and his letters from the Soviet Army, which are being printed for the first time.

The publication is richly decorated with rare photographs from different years, some of which are being published for the first time.
