Belarusian coach Khatskevich was attacked by fans of his team in Poland

The Belarusian coach of the Zagłębia Sosnowiec team Aliaksandr Khatskevich was attacked during a football training session. He received several punches and kicks.

This team lost its last match with a score of 0:4, and takes the last place in the standings. The Polish edition also reported that the club’s management is considering replacing the head coach, then Alexander Khatskevich will be forced to leave the club, reports Meczyki.pl.

“The training took place in a normal atmosphere, but at some point a group of people appeared who wanted to aggressively attack the coaching staff and the players. My players showed unity. I grew up on the street myself and I know how to behave in such situations, I know how to dodge and fight back. We didn’t feel safe. The problem is that the club did not provide security during training. It shouldn’t be like this,” Polish journalist Piotr Szląnko quoted Aliaksandr Khatskevich as saying on his Telegram channel.
