Belarusians create a “Krywija” squad in Poland

Belarusian reenactors living in Bialystok took part in a large festival on the Early Middle Ages.

“This is such a festival on the Early Middle Ages, which has been held for more than 20 years. This is a very interesting festival, I would even say that there are no such analogues in Belarus. It’s such a festival franchise, it’s a role-playing game festival. About 20 years ago, they started holding these festivals,” said Yuri Brauer, one of the reenactors.

According to him, three Belarusians took part in the festival this year, and all of them from the “Krywija” squad. “There were few Belarusians, there were only three of us, they were people from our squad, the Belarusian mercenary squad “Krywija”. We participated in all the events that were there. It was an assault on the fortress, a battle in the field, after that there was a feast for the participants. It was an interesting experience,” Yuri Brauer said.

Belarusian reenactors will start recruiting to the club via social networks within the next month in order to try to present the Belarusian squad more massively at future festivals.
