Five companies in Podlasie, winners of the competition to start or increase exports – received financial support from the European Funds for Podlaskie (FedP) program.
Contracts with representatives of the companies were signed by Vice Marshal of the voivodeship Marek Malinowski, who, along with the others, stressed the importance of returning exports to Belarus.
“We used to export a lot to Belarus. From the point of view of the situation, our hands are tied. It is also impossible to go to Ukraine. There is no other alternative, only the south of Europe remains,” the participants of the competition noted.
In total, the Podlaskie municipality allocated financing for the promotion of exports from the region in the amount of 18.1 million zlotys. In modern conditions, the companies in Podlasie are interested in exporting to the EU and Baltic countries, and above all to Lithuania.
