This morning, the third day of the search for a Russian aircraft object began, which flew into the territory of Poland and disappeared from radar in the area of gmina Tyszowce (Lublin County), reports pap.pl.

Soldiers search the area, including: in the gmina of Labunie in Zamosc County. A spokesman for the operational command of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Jacek Goriszewski, told PAP that the search for the object would continue on Wednesday both from the ground and from the air. Mounted patrols are also planned, as well as the use of helicopters and FlyEye unmanned aerial vehicles.

“Today, a search zone was determined to the west of the town of Wolica Sniatycka (Zamosc County). We mainly check uninhabited areas such as forests, meadows and fields. The area was selected based on radar recordings and the possible flight path of the object. We do not have any signals from witnesses of the incident yet,” the spokesman explained.

The military does not exclude that the object could not have fallen in Poland, but could have flown further or turned back, but the radar systems could not fix this.
