More than 1 million zlotys have been spent in Bialystok to improve conditions for children with disabilities

In Bialystok, agreements were signed to improve accessibility in educational institutions of the city for a total amount of more than 1 million zlotys.

“This investment is designed to improve the learning conditions of children with disabilities. Improving accessibility is one of the most important tasks for the strategy of our voivodeship. Today we are signing two million zloty contracts for two Bialystok schools. The funds will be allocated for the construction of two elevators,” said Marshal of Podlaskie voivodeship Lukasz Prokorym.

Deputy President of Bialystok Tomasz Klim assured that such support is not the last for urban educational institutions.

“Thanks to this, we are going to improve the learning conditions for children with disabilities, improve the accessibility of these schools. Other schools also have people in need related to accessibility. Therefore, we will try to improve accessibility in all Bialystok schools,” he said.

Accordingly, the VII Public Lyceum in Bialystok and the Complex of Electrical Schools named after Professor Janusz Graszkowski in Bialystok received financial support from the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled.
