On November 7, a grant competition for research and development with commercial potential was announced in Podlasie.
The program, implemented at the expense of European funds, is aimed at introducing innovative solutions developed in Podlasie to the market.
“We are interested in making sure that the ideas that are born in the minds of our scientists from Podlaskie voivodeship can be used practically. We are talking about the commercialization of our ideas so that they can be used in the economic sector,” said Marek Malinowski, Vice Marshal of Podlaskie Voivodeship.
The practical importance of such a competition, first of all, for the universities of the city, was emphasized by the vice-rector for the development of Bialystok Polytechnic, Professor Miroslaw Swiercz.
Applications for the competition can be submitted from December 9 to the end of January 2025. In the first competition, 1 million zlotys will be allocated for grants. Accordingly, one project will be able to receive up to 100,000 zlotys. The total budget of the grant fund is about 3.5 million zlotys.
