Suprasl is the only city in Podlasie and one of the five cities in Poland that were among the tourist hits of next year’s “Best of The World 2025”, prepared by National Geographic. Suprasl took the 27th place.
Located in the heart of the Knyszynska Forest, the city offers the perfect combination of natural beauty and cultural wealth. It is famous for the historical Monastery of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the unique in Poland the Icon Museum.
The small town is located in the north-east of Poland and is an ideal place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Visitors can admire the picturesque landscapes on the banks of the river with the same name, walk or bike along forest trails, and experience the traditional Podlaskie hospitality. And try traditional Podlaskie dishes (primarily potato dishes – the constant influence of Belarusian cuisine).
Due to its ecological location (a sanatorium with especially high iodine in the air) and local cuisine based on “wild forest ingredients”, Suprasle invites you to slow down and connect with nature and history in an authentic setting.
In short, immerse yourself in the charm of the quiet Podlasie’s marina – we read in National Geographic.
