Vice Marshal of the Polish Senate Michal Kaminski organized a working meeting with the participation of Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Anna Radwan, Director of the Kastus Kalinouski Scholarship Program Professor Jan Malicki and a delegation of Belarusian students studying in Poland, the Parliamentary Channel reported.
During this meeting, issues of exemption of Kastus Kalinouski program fellows from tuition fees at Polish universities, the possibility for Belarusian students to issue visa invitations for their families, problems with the issuance of apostilles for necessary documents in Belarus were discussed.
Following the meeting, it was agreed to organize a high-level meeting with the presidium of the conference of rectors of Polish universities, and to contact the consulates of Poland in Belarus for visa support. It was also stated that the Polish Foreign Ministry is working towards simplifying procedures for Belarusians.
